What do I need to bring for my first Wickliffe dispensary visit?
All customers must show a valid, government-issued photo ID. Patients should also bring their Ohio Medical Card—either on their phone or as a printed copy.
For First Time Patients, you must complete a Patient Intake Form.
Please note: Patients will receive an electronic card from the Medical Marijuana Control Program. Physical cards will no longer be sent by mail.
What payment methods are accepted?
The Botanist Wickliffe dispensary accepts debit, cash, and Dutchie’s Pay-by-Bank at all of our Ohio dispensary locations. For your convenience, there’s also an ATM on-site.
Please note: Some payment methods may include processing fees, depending on your provider.
Can I use my medical marijuana card from another state?
No, we only accept medical marijuana cards issued in Ohio. Cards from other states are not valid for Wickliffe dispensary purchases or use within Ohio’s medical marijuana program.
Can I bring a friend with me to your Wickliffe dispensary?
How much cannabis can I legally buy in Wickliffe, OH?
In Ohio, adults 21 and older can legally purchase up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis flower or15,000 milligrams of THC in non-plant-material products per day.
Medical marijuana patients in the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP)now follow the same daily limits. However, patients have one key advantage — they canpurchase up to four days’ worth of medicine in a single transaction:
- Up to 10 ounces of plant material
- Up to 60,000 milligrams of total THC content for all other products
How much is the cannabis tax in Wickliffe, OH?
Recreational marijuana purchases in Wickliffe are subject to:
- 10% excise tax
- 5.75% state sales tax
- Local sales tax results in a total tax rate of 15.75%–18%, depending on local rates.
Medical marijuana purchases are exempt from the 10% excise tax but still incur standard sales taxes.

Product Return Policy
All customers and patients are encouraged to contact the [email protected] email regarding return inquiries for fastest service. However, guests are welcome to return to the store where they originally completed their purchase to process the return in person if it meets any of the following criteria.
- Guests must be able to provide the original product label, dispensary receipt, and purchased item itself to be eligible for a return
- Purchase must have been within the last 30 days
- Mandatory or Voluntary recall
- If the product does not match the item on the purchase receipt, it is considered “defective” under DCC regulations.
- Product was mislabeled by a cultivator or processor Allowable Accessory Returns
- Defective devices priced $20 and under can be exchanged for a new device (the same device). EX: AVD Seed, Silo, Luster, Airo battery
- We cannot exchange defective devices over $20. Guests must contact the manufacturer for a return/refund.
